The worst ending in Assassin's Creed Odyssey can be obtained by killing or failing to save Nikolaos, Stentor, Myrrine, and Deimos, which causes the protagonist to return home and eat dinner alone. The protagonist stares blankly at the empty room before going outside, where they see Ikaros perching on a branch which puts a small smile on their face, but the protagonist soon turns around and returns to the deserted home.

#8 - Nikolaos Is The Only One To Join AC Odyssey's Ending Dinner

If players finish exploring one of the biggest maps in the Assassin’s Creed series and only let Nikolaos survive, he will accompany the protagonist in the dinner scene, which makes the situation rather awkward because of the complicated past between the stepfather and the protagonist in Assassin's Creed Odyssey. Nikolaos comments that he feels strange returning to this house again, and the protagonist says that they remember the place to be bigger.

#7 - Nikolaos And Stentor Survive In Assassin's Creed Odyssey

If players do not kill Nikolaos and manage to keep Stentor alive, the two characters will appear with the protagonist in this Assassin's Creed Odyssey ending, but unfortunately, Myrrine and Deimos cannot join because they are dead. The dinner's mood is still stilted and the protagonist asks Stentor to pass the wine, but the man drinks all the alcohol before saying that they are out of wine.

#6 - Myrrine Lives At The End Of Assassin's Creed Odyssey

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey: Ranking All Possible Endings (4)

If players decide to do one of the worst decisions in this Assassin’s Creed game by killing all major characters except for Myrrine, she will return to the house with the protagonist. This ending is slightly better than the previous ones because Myrrine comforts the protagonist, but the two people still feel the loss of Deimos, which makes it a bittersweet ending in Assassin's Creed Odyssey.

#5 - Myrrine and Nikolaos Reunite In An Odyssey Ending

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey: Ranking All Possible Endings (5)

Myrrine and Nikolaos will be reunited in this Assassin's Creed Odyssey's ending, and although it will be a reunion of old lovers, the recent loss of their children and the weight of their past are still pressing on their shoulders. The protagonist and their parents make polite conversations, but the closeness from the past has been lost, and it will take a long time before the three characters become a family again.

#4 - Assassin's Creed Odyssey's Deimos Is Convinced To Go Home

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey: Ranking All Possible Endings (6)

Players must avoid one of the worst fights in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey that will end in Deimos’ death by convincing them to abandon the cult. Unfortunately, this is not an easy task and requires a lot of right story choices. If players succeed, they will see a heartwarming scene where Deimos pokes fun at the protagonist's table manners and Myrrine agrees with their sentiment.

#3 - Deimos Is The Only One Who Dies In Assassin's Creed Odyssey

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey: Ranking All Possible Endings (7)

If players only fail to save Deimos in Assassin's Creed Odyssey, they will still get Nikolaos, Stentor, and Myrrine to attend the dinner. Nikolaos attempts to start a conversation by saying it's nice to be there, but Myrrine sharply replies that not everyone makes it, showing how deeply Deimos' death hurts Myrrine.

#2 - Stentor Dies In Assassin's Creed Odyssey

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey: Ranking All Possible Endings (8)

If players beat Assassin’s Creed Odyssey without managing to save Stentor, only Nikolaos, Myrrine, and Deimos will join the protagonist in the awkward dinner. Nikolaos tries to break the ice by asking Deimos if they want to go hunting with him the next day. Deimos accepts after some encouragement from the protagonist and Myrrine, which reveals that the family has a chance to move past their trauma.

#1 - Everyone Is Alive In Assassin's Creed Odyssey

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey: Ranking All Possible Endings (9)

To obtain the best ending in Assassin's Creed Odyssey, players must ensure the survival of everyone, and unlike other endings, the atmosphere is more relaxed, with every family member being happy and open with each other. Myrrine and Nikolaos will attempt to impart some important life lessons, but Deimos and Stentor will quickly get distracted and start a friendly brawl while the protagonist will stand up and offer to get more wine. The best ending in Assassin's Creed Odyssey is a great and sweet conclusion for a family that has suffered countless heartache and tragedy due to the Cult of Kosmos, and unlike many endings, all family members should have an easier time moving on from the past and building a better future.

In the end, players can decide for themselves which endings they consider best, especially considering that some fans cannot forgive Nikolaos for his actions and may feel that the endings where he does not survive are the best ones. Other players may dislike Deimos for their participation in the Cult of Kosmos, which causes the death of Phoibe, and they may prefer endings without Deimos in them. Still, it is generally a better idea to keep major characters alive to obtain the best ending in Assassin's Creed Odyssey where Alexios and Kassandra can reunite as siblings and allow the characters to become a new family.
