NYC DOT Weekend Traffic Advisory (2024)

This traffic alert details the locations of road construction and other events that will affect the flow of traffic this weekend. This information is subject to change. Check the Weekly Traffic Advisory Check the Special Traffic Advisory

The times listed for closures for street fairs are for the actual times of the street fairs themselves. The streets may be closed for longer to allow for set-up and breakdown. Street fair organizers are generally permitted to begin set-up at 8 am and breakdown must be completed by 7 pm.

Manhattan

West 4 Street between Greene Street and Mercer Street

This street will be closed This street will be closed 9 am to 3 pm Monday to Friday through 7/11/24 for boom operation.

West 17th Street between 6th Avenue and 5th Avenue

This street will be closed from 5 am to 2 pm Saturday and Sunday through 7/7/24 for use of knuckle boom to hoist trellis/building materials.

West 28th Street between 8th Avenue and 7th Avenue

This street will be closed from 6 am to 5 pm Saturday and Sunday through 7/7/24 to facilitate crane operation.

East 30th Street between 5th Avenue and Madison Avenue

This street will be closed from 5 am to 3 pm Saturday and Sunday through 7/7/24 to facilitate crane operation.

East 32nd Street between 3rd Avenue and 2nd Avenue

This street will be closed from 5 am to 3 pm Saturday and Sunday through 7/7/24 to facilitate crane operation.

West 37 Street between 6th Avenue and 5th Avenue

This street will be closed from 1 am to 10 am Saturday and Sunday through 7/14/24 to facilitate crane operation.

East 47th Street between Vanderbilt Avenue and Madison Avenue

This street will be closed 24/7 through 11/14/24 for Grand Central Terminal train shed project.

This street will be closed Saturday from 8 am to 6 pm and Sunday from 9 am to 6 pm through 7/14/24 to facilitate sewer repair.

West 55th Street between 5th Avenue and 6th Avenue

This street will be closed from 12:01 am Saturday to 10 pm Sunday through 7/13/24 for associated closure.

East 75 Street between York Avenue and 1 Avenue

This street will be closed Friday from 9 am to 4 pm through 8/11/24 to facilitate concrete pouring and knuckle boom truck operation.

East 76th Street between 5th Avenue and Madison Avenue

This street will be closed from 8 am to 6 pm Saturday, and 9 am to 6 pm Sunday through 7/14/24 gas main/service installation.

East 77th Street between 2nd Avenue and 3rd Avenue

This street will be closed from 8 am to 6 pm Saturday, and 9 am to 6 pm Sunday through 7/13/24 to repair sewer.

East 78th Street between 1st Avenue and 2nd Avenue

This street will be closed from 8 am to 6 pm Saturday, and 9 am to 6 pm Sunday through 7/14/24 for fiber service for rooftop wireless antenna.

East 91st Street between 1st Avenue and York Avenue

This street will be closed from 8 am to 6 pm Saturday, and 9 am to 6 pm Sunday through 7/9/24 to facilitate crane operation.

West 94th Street between Amsterdam Avenue and Columbus Avenue

This street will be closed from 8 am to 6 pm Saturday, and 9 am to 6 pm Sunday through 7/28/24 for major gas installation.

East 126th Street between Madison Avenue and Park Avenue

This street will be closed from 9 am to 4 pm Monday to Friday through 7/19/24 for concrete pours.

West 137th Street between Adam Clayton Powell Boulevard and Lenox Avenue

This street will be closed from 8 am to 6 pm Saturday, and 9 am to 6 pm Sunday through 7/7/24 to facilitate crane operation.

West 140th Street between Amsterdam Avenue and Hamilton Place

This street will be closed Friday from 9 am to 5 pm through 7/9/24 to facilitate crane operation.

West 162nd Street between Broadway and St. Nicholas Avenue

This street will be closed from 9 am to 4 pm Monday to Friday through 7/5/24 for concrete pump operations.

East 212th Street between Broadway and 10th Avenue

This street will be closed from 8 am to 6 pm Saturday, and 9 am to 6 pm Sunday through 7/28/24 to facilitate crane operation.

Spring Street between Broadway and Crosby Street

This street will be closed from 8 am to 6 pm Saturday, and 9 am to 6 pm Sunday through 7/6/24 for building inspection from boom truck.

Harlem River Ramp between 2nd Avenue Southbound and 2nd Avenue Northbound

This street will be closed from 7 am to 7 pm Monday to Sunday through 7/8/24 for installation of the new 13kv feeders across Harlem River.

FDR Drive Southbound between Jackson Street and Cherry Street

Single-lane will be closed Friday from 11 pm to 7 am next morning, and Sunday from 11 pm to 10 am next morning. Double-lane will be closed Tuesday to Friday from 1 am to 5 am, Saturday from 1 am to 6 am, and Sunday from 1 am to 7 am. These closures are necessary to facilitate East Side Coastal Resiliency Project and will continue through September 11, 2026.

FDR Drive between Montgomery Street and East 15 Street

Single-lane northbound and/or southbound will be closed Monday to Thursday from 10 pm to 5 am next morning, Saturday from 12:01 am to 9 am, and Sunday from 1 am to 11 am. Double-lane will be closed Tuesday to Friday from 1 am to 5 am, Saturday from 1 am to 7 am, and Sunday from 1 am to 7 am. These closures are necessary to facilitate median reconstruction and will continue through August 15, 2026.

FDR Drive Southbound Service Road between East 61st Street and East 62nd Street

This street will be closed from 7 am to 6 pm Monday to Friday through 7/11/24 to facilitate crane operation.

Platt Street between Gold Street and Pearl Street

This street will be closed from 7 am to 4 pm Friday through 7/3/24 for concrete pouring.

Gold Street between Edens Alley and Fulton Street

This street will be closed from 9 am to 3 pm Monday to Friday through 7/23/24 to repair water.

Gold Street between Edens Alley and John Street

This street will be closed from 9 am to 3 pm Monday to Friday through 7/23/24 to repair water.

Thompson Street between West 3rd Street and Bleecker Street

This street will be closed from 9 am to 4 pm Friday through 7/22/24 for use of boom truck deliveries.

Washington Square East between Washington Place and Washington Square South

This street will be closed from 7 am to 4 pm Friday through 7/26/24 for special operations to include knuckle boom equipment.

Duane Street between Elk Street and Broadway

This street will be closed from 8 am to 6 pm Saturday, and 9 am to 6 pm Sunday through 7/7/24 to facilitate crane operation.

Duane Street between Elk Street and Federal Plaza

This street will be closed from 8 am to 6 pm Saturday, and 9 am to 6 pm Sunday through 7/7/24 to facilitate crane operation.

Leroy Street between Greenwich Street and Hudson Street

This street will be closed from 9 am to 4 pm Friday through 7/21/24 for concrete pump to complete work on 9th floor and roof.

Jane Street between Washington Street and Greenwich Street

Bethune Street between West Street and Washington Street

This street will be closed from 9 am to 4 pm Friday through 7/26/24 for major gas installation.

This street will be closed from 12:01 am Saturday to 11:59 pm Sunday through 7/7/24 to facilitate crane operation.

West Street between Jane Street and Horatio Street

This street will be closed from 7 am to 4 pm Friday through 7/31/24 for associated closure.

This street will be closed from 7 am to 4 pm Friday through 7/31/24 for associated closure.

Horatio Street between Washington Street and Greenwich Street

This street will be closed from 9 am to 4 pm Friday for use of knuckle boom to hoist windows.

This street will be closed from 9 am to 4 pm Friday through 7/26/24 to pump concrete and hoist materials.

Avenue of The America’s Expo Fair

The following streets will be closed for the Avenue of The America’s Expo Fair on Saturday, July 6th, 2024 at the discretion of the NYPD in Manhattan.

Lexington Avenue Fair

The following streets will be closed for the Lexington Avenue Fair on Sunday, July 7th, 2024 at the discretion of the NYPD in Manhattan.

Manhattan/Queens

Ed Koch/Queensboro Bridge

Single-lane Queens-bound south upper roadway will be closed 24/7. Double-lane Queens-bound south upper roadway will be closed Monday to Tuesday from 9:30 am to 3 pm and from 8 pm to 5 am next morning, Wednesday from 9:30 am to 12 pm, and Friday from 9:30 am to 3 pm and from 8 pm to 5 am next morning. During second lane closure, one Manhattan-bound upper roadway lane will reverse to service Queens-bound traffic. Queens-bound south outer roadway will be closed Sunday to Saturday from 11 pm to 6 am next morning. These closures are necessary to facilitate replacement of upper roadway.

Manhattan/Brooklyn

Manhattan Bridge

Single-lane Manhattan-bound lower roadway will be closed Saturday from 6 am to 2 pm to facilitate bridge maintenance. At least one lane of traffic in each direction will be maintained at all times.

Brooklyn Bridge

Rolling closures, single-lane at a time, in either direction will be closed Saturday from 12:01 am to 6 am and Sunday from 2 am to 2 pm, to facilitate bridge maintenance.

Williamsburg Bridge

Single-lane Brooklyn-bound south outer roadway will be closed from Saturday 5 am to Monday 5 am, Monday to Tuesday from 5 am to 6 pm, and Wednesday from 5 am to 4 pm. Single-lane Brooklyn-bound south inner roadway will be closed Monday to Tuesday from 10 am to 3 pm, and Wednesday from 10 am to 12 pm. Single-lane Manhattan-bound north outer roadway will be closed Monday to Tuesday from 6 pm to 5 am next morning. Single-lane Manhattan-bound north inner roadway will be closed Monday to Tuesday from 8 pm to 5 am next morning. These closures are necessary to facilitate Structural Strengthening and rehabilitation.

Manhattan/Bronx

Madison Avenue Bridge over Harlem River

Single-lane at a time in either direction will be closed Monday to Friday from 10 am to 2 pm. Single-lane in both directions will be closed Monday to Friday from 10 pm to 6 am next morning, and Saturday from 10 pm to 7 am next morning. Bridge will be fully closed Monday to Friday from 12:01 am to 5 am. Bronx-bound will be closed Saturday from 12:01 am to 6 am and Manhattan-bound will be closed Saturday from 12:01 am to 7 am. These closures are necessary to facilitate bridge rehabilitation and will continue through July 31, 2024. Motorist may use 145 Street Bridge as an alternate route.

Bronx

East 144th Street between Gerard Avenue and Walton Avenue

This street will be closed from 8 am to 6 pm Saturday, and 9 am to 6 pm Sunday through 7/19/24 to facilitate crane operation.

East 153rd Street between Bergen Avenue and 3rd Avenue

This street will be closed Friday from 9 am to 4 pm through 8/30/24 for concrete pours and material deliveries.

West 169th Street between Nelson Avenue and Shakespeare Avenue

This street will be closed from 8 am to 6 pm Saturday, and 9 am to 6 pm Sunday through 8/5/24 to facilitate crane operation.

East 170th Street between Bristow Street and Prospect Avenue

This street will be closed from 9 am to 2 pm Monday to Friday through 7/15/24 for concrete pour, rebar delivery.

East 177th Street between Morris Avenue and Grand Concourse

This street will be closed from 9 pm to 5 am Monday to Friday through 7/24/24 for box manhole enlargement.

East 180th Street between Ryer Avenue and Anthony Avenue

This street will be closed from 9 am to 2 pm Monday to Friday and 8 am to 4 pm Saturday through 7/20/24 for concrete pouring and booming operations.

East 196th Street between Briggs Avenue and Bainbridge Avenue

This street will be closed from 4 pm to 11:59 pm Monday to Friday through 7/24/24 for tele handler for facade and roof work.

East 223rd Street between White Plains Road and Carpenter Avenue

This street will be closed from 8 am to 6 pm Monday to Friday through 8/8/24 for use of boom, knuckle boom and concrete pump to work om new building.

Bathgate between East 182nd Street and East 181st Street

This street will be closed from 9 am to 2 pm weekdays, and 8 am to 6 pm Saturday through 7/27/24 for concrete pouring and booming operations for new 7 story building.

Weiher Court between 3rd Avenue and Washington Avenue

This street will be closed from 8 am to 4 pm Monday to Friday through 7/19/24 for concrete pump and booming to erect new building.

Gerard Avenue between East 150th Street and East 151st Street

This street will be closed from 9 am to 4 pm Friday through 7/30/24 to facilitate crane operation.

Walton Avenue between East 144th Street and East 140th Street

This street will be closed from 8 am to 6 pm Saturday, and 9 am to 6 pm Sunday through 7/19/24 to facilitate crane operation.

Whitlock Avenue between Aldus Street and East 165th Street

This street will be closed from 9 am to 5 pm Monday to Friday, and 8 am to 6 pm Sunday through 8/5/24 to facilitate crane operation.

Inwood Avenue between West 169th Street and West Clarke Place

This street will be closed from 9 am to 2 pm Monday to Friday when school is in session, and 9 am to 4 pm when school is not in session through 7/10/24 for use of concrete pumps, boom trucks and knuckle booms.

Boone Avenue between East 172nd Street and East 173rd Street

This street will be closed from 8 am to 6 pm Saturday, and 9 am to 6 pm Sunday through 7/30/24 to facilitate crane operation.

Monroe Avenue between East 173rd Street and East 174th Street

This street will be closed from 9 am to 2 pm Monday to Friday through 7/17/24 to facilitate crane operation.

Honeywell Avenue between East 178th Street and East 179th Street

This street will be closed from 9 am to 2 pm Monday to Friday through 7/5/24 for use of boom, knuckle boom and concrete pump to work on new building.

Loring Place North between Hall of Fame Terrace and West 183 Street

This street will be closed from 7 pm to 11 pm Monday to Friday through 9/2/24 for use of boom truck for lifting materials to school building.

Villa Avenue between East 205th Street and Van Cortlandt Avenue East

This street will be closed 8 am to 5 pm Monday to Friday through 8/12/24 for use of boom and knuckle boom to work on new building.

Creston Avenue between 196th Street and East Kingsbridge Road

This street will be closed from 9 am to 4 pm Friday through 7/24/24 to facilitate crane operation.

Furman Avenue between East 240 Street and East 241 Street

This street will be closed from 8 am to 5 pm Monday to Friday through 9/8/24 to facilitate use of concrete pump.

Faile Street between Randall Avenue and Spofford Avenue

This street will be closed from 8 am to 6 pm Saturday, and 9 am to 6 pm Sunday through 7/14/24 to facilitate crane operation.

Ryer Avenue between East Burnside Avenue and East 180th Street

This street will be closed from 9 am to 6 pm Monday to Friday, and 8 am to 6 pm Saturday through 7/5/24 to facilitate crane operation.

Cruger Avenue between Sagamore Street and Bronxdale Avenue

This street will be closed from 6 am to 4 pm Friday, and 5 pm to 9 pm Sunday through 9/27/24 for MTA contract C-35311 work zone and MP 6.

Glebe Avenue between Westchester Avenue and Lyon Avenue

This street will be closed from 9 am to 3 pm Monday to Friday through 7/26/24 to facilitate crane operation.

Jerome Avenue between Elliot Place and Marcy Place

This street will be closed 9 am to 2 pm Monday to Friday through 7/14/24 for use of boom, knuckle boom and concrete pump to work on our new building.

Cross Bronx Expressway between Arthur Avenue and Clay Avenue

Single-lane in both directions will be closed Monday to Friday from 12:01 am to 5 am and double-lane will be closed from 1 am to 5 am through August 30, 2024, except holidays, to facilitate in-depth inspections.

Entrance Ramp from Southbound Sheridan Boulevard (NY-895) to Westbound Bruckner Expressway (I-278)

This ramp will be closed through December 24, 2024, to facilitate Hunts Point Interstate Access Improvement Project. Trucks and buses are advised to use the exit ramp towards Edgewater Road/Hunts Point Market and follow the detour signs and use the Leggett Avenue entrance ramp to westbound Bruckner Expressway. Cars are advised to use the temporary exit ramp towards Whitlock Avenue and follow the detour signs to westbound Bruckner Expressway.

Hutchinson River Parkway Bridge over the Hutchinson River

Northbound will be closed Monday to Friday from 12 am to 5 am through July 12, 2024, to facilitate removal and refurbish of live load assemblies. Motorists are advised to use Pelham Parkway as an alternate route.

Major Deegan Expressway (northbound) between Exit 3 and Entrance ramp north of East 138 Street

Right-lane will become an exit only lane at Exit 3 24/7. Additional lane will be closed Monday to Friday from 11 pm to 5 am, Saturday and Sunday from 1 am to 8 am, and Sunday night from 10 pm to 5 am next morning through March 3, 2025 to facilitate East 138 Street Bridge replacement. Full closure may occur Monday to Friday between 12 am and 5 am for demolition and erection of the superstructure.

Major Deegan Expressway (southbound) between Exit 3 and Entrance ramp south of East 138 Street

Right-lane will become an exit only lane at Exit 3 24/7. Additional lane will be closed Monday to Friday from 11 pm to 5 am, Saturday and Sunday from 1 am to 8 am, and Sunday night from 10 pm to 5 am next morning through March 3, 2025 to facilitate East 138 Street Bridge replacement. Southbound exit ramp to 138 Street bridge will be closed Monday to Friday from 11 pm to 5 am, Friday from 11 pm to 6 am next morning, Saturday from 11 pm to 9 am next morning, and Sunday from 11 pm to 5 am next morning to facilitate water main connections.

Shore Road Bridge over the Hutchinson River

Single-lane northbound will be closed Monday to Friday from 7 am to 9 am and single-lane in both directions will be closed from 9 am to 1 pm and 10 pm to 7 am next morning through July 26, 2024 to facilitate maintenance. One lane of traffic in each direction will be maintained at all times.

Ryer Avenue between East 180th Street and East Burnside Avenue

This street will be closed Friday from 9 am to 2 pm through 7/14/24 to facilitate deliveries.

Brooklyn

1st Street between 8 Avenue and Prospect Park West

This street will be closed rom 9 am to 4 pm Friday, and 8 am to 4 pm Saturday through 7/12/24 for installation of new sewer & Water services.

1st Avenue between 43 Street and 44 Street

This street will be closed from 9 am to 4 pm Friday through 7/5/24 for roadway excavation.

4th Street between Hoyt Street and Smith Street

This street will be closed from 9 am to 4 pm Friday through 9/30/24 for pumping and booming for construction on 8 story new building.

24th Street between 4th Avenue and 5th Avenue

This street will be closed 9 am to 4 pm Friday through 9/13/24 for booming/pumping operations for new building construction.

33rd Street between 2nd Avenue and 3rd Avenue

This street will be closed from 8 am to 6 pm Saturday, and 9 am to 6 pm Sunday through 7/7/24 for use of crane for telecom removal.

44th Street between 13th Avenue and 14th Avenue

This street will be closed from 9 am to 4 pm Friday through 8/23/24 to facilitate crane operation.

45 Street between 12th Avenue and 13th Avenue

This street will be closed from 9 am to 6 pm Monday to Friday through 7/13/24 to facilitate crane operation.

49th Street between 10th Avenue and Fort Hamilton Parkway

This street will be closed from 10 am to 4 pm Monday to Friday for the use of boom truck to lift 80-ton AHU.

East 49 Street between Rutland Road and Winthrop Street

This street will be closed from 9 am to 4 pm Monday to Friday through 7/9/24 for installation of new water and sewer services.

East 55th Street between Glenwood Road and Foster Avenue

This street will be closed from 9 am to 4 pm Friday through 8/5/24 for use of boom trucks, concrete pumps to work on new building.

57th Street between 20th Avenue and 21st Avenue

This street will be closed from 9 am to 4 pm Friday through 8/13/24 to facilitate crane operation.

62nd Street between 13 Avenue and 14 Avenue

This street will be closed from 9 am to 4 pm Friday through 8/21/24 for use of boom, knuckle boom and concrete pump to work on new building.

82 Street between 21 Avenue and Bay Parkway

This street will be closed Friday from 9 am to 4 pm through 8/6/24 to facilitate crane operation.

7 Avenue Bridge over LIRR between 64 Street and 62 Street

Approximately 60 parking spaces will be eliminated on 17 Avenue between 62 and 64 Streets and travel lanes will be shifted to the parking lanes, Monday to Friday from 7 am to 6 pm, through July 26, 2024, to facilitate bridge rehabilitation.

Ninth Street Bridge over the Gowanus Canal

Eastbound Lane will be closed Monday to Friday from 10 pm to 5 am next morning, through July 12, 2024, to facilitate maintenance and repairs. Bridge may also be fully closed for 15 minutes at a time intermittently for testing.

18 Avenue Bridge over LIRR between 52 Street and 54 Street

Approximately 40 parking spaces will be eliminated on 18 Avenue between 52 and 54 Streets and travel lanes will be shifted to the parking lanes, Monday to Friday from 9 am to 4 pm. Approximately 18 parking spaces will also be eliminated on 53 Street between 17 and 19 Avenues. These closures are necessary to facilitate 18 Avenue bridge rehabilitation and will continue through July 26, 2024.

26 Avenue by Belt Parkway Bridge overpass

Eastbound parking lane will be fenced off as a staging area for underdeck rehabilitation work on the Bely Parkway Bridge. Closure will continue through, approximately end of December 2024. South side sidewalk and eastbound traffic will be maintained at all times. Also, single or double-lane will be closed Monday to Friday from 9 am to 4 pm through July 26, 2024. One traffic lane in each direction will be maintained at all times.

Nostrand Avenue Bridge over LIRR between Avenue H and Avenue I

Approximately six parking spaces will be eliminated, and alternate sidewalk closure will take place Monday to Friday from 9 am to 4 pm through July 26, 2024, to facilitate bridge rehabilitation.

Brooklyn-Queens Expressway between Atlantic Avenue and Sands Street

Queens-bound will be closed from Saturday 2 am to Monday 4 am, to facilitate critical repairs of the triple cantilever structure. Queens-bound Brooklyn-Queens Expressway entrance ramps at Atlantic Avenue, 3 Avenue, Prospect Expressway, and Hamilton Avenue, will also be closed. Motorists may use the Tillary Street entrance ramp to access Queens-bound mainline. On Atlantic Avenue between Clinton Street and Boerum Place, south side parking lane will accommodate right and thru traffic while two eastbound lanes will be dedicated to left-turn traffic onto Boerum Place.

Elmwood Avenue between East 3rd Street and East 4th Street

This street will be closed from 9 am to 4 pm Friday through 9/10/24 to facilitate crane operation.

Fleet Place between Willoughby Avenue and Myrtle Avenue

This street will be closed from 8 am to 6 pm Saturday, and 9 am to 6 pm Sunday through 7/13/24 to install a manhole.

Clinton Street between Pierrepont Street and Cadman Plaza West

This street will be closed from 9 am to 4 pm Friday through 7/16/24 to facilitate crane operation.

Clay Street between Franklin Street and Manhattan Avenue

This street will be closed from 9 am to 4 pm Friday through 7/31/24 for concrete pump and knuckle boom operations.

Dupont Street between Franklin Street and Manhattan Avenue

This street will be closed from 9 am to 4 pm Friday through 7/31/24 for concrete pump and knuckle boom operations.

Douglass Street between 4th Avenue and 3rd Avenue

This street will be closed from 9 am to 4 pm Friday through 7/11/24 to facilitate crane operation.

Eckford Street between Driggs Avenue and Engert Avenue

This street will be closed Friday from 9 am to 4 pm through 8/6/24 to facilitate knuckle boom operation.

Gallatin Place between Livingston Street and Fulton Street

This street will be closed from 9 am to 4 pm Friday through 7/27/24 for new building.

Fulton Street between Dekalb Avenue and Flatbush Avenue Extension

Single-lane will be closed Monday to Friday from 10 pm to 5 am next morning and double-lane will be closed from 1 am to 5 am through July 12, 2024, to facilitate Springfield Boulevard Bridge rehabilitation. One lane in each direction will be maintained.

Belt Shore Parkway near 130 Street

Single-lane in both directions will be closed Monday to Friday from 1 am to 5 am. Single-lane eastbound will be closed Saturday from 1 am to 7 am and Sunday from 2 am to 8 am. Single-lane westbound will be closed Saturday from 1 am to 6 am and Sunday from 2 am to 9 am. During westbound closure, single-lane on the westbound entrance ramp at 135 Street will also be closed. These closures are necessary to facilitate rehabilitation of 130 Street Bridge and will continue through June 30, 2024.

Clearview Expressway between Throgs Neck Bridge and 500 feet south of Grand Central Parkway

Shoulder and adjacent lane in both directions will be closed Monday to Friday from 9 am to 3 pm, through November 1, 2024, to facilitate electrical repairs.

Francis Lewis Boulevard Bridge over Belt System Laurelton Parkway

Single-lane in both directions on the bridge and west sidewalk will be closed Monday to Friday from 9 am to 4 pm. One lane in each direction will be maintained. Single-lane in both directions on the Belt System Lauralton Parkway underpass will be closed Monday to Friday from 10 pm to 5 am next morning and double-lane will be closed from 1 am to 5 am. One lane in each direction will be maintained. These closures are necessary to facilitate Francis Lewis Boulevard bridge underdeck rehabilitation and will continue through July 26, 2024.

Hillside Avenue Bridge over Cross Island Parkway

Single-lane will be closed Monday to Friday from 9 am to 7 pm, Saturday from 8 am to 6 pm, and Sunday from 9 am to 6 pm. Double-lane will be closed Monday to Friday from 10 am to 2 pm. These closures are necessary to facilitate bridge rehabilitation and will continue through July 28, 2024.

Hunters Point Avenue Bridge over Dutch Kills between 27 Street and 29 Street

Bridge will be reduced to one travel lane to accommodate alternating eastbound and westbound traffic, Monday to Friday from 9 am to 4 pm, Saturday and Sunday from 7 am to 5 pm. These closures are necessary to facilitate paint removal and will continue through August 21, 2024.

North Conduit Avenue between 114 Place and Cross Bay Boulevard Bridge

Single-lane in both directions, adjacent to the median, will be closed Monday to Friday from 9 am to 2 pm and 10 pm to 5 am next morning, through July 26, 2024, to facilitate bridge rehabilitation. One lane in each direction will be maintained at all times.

Van Wyck Expressway Viaduct Rehabilitation

Single-lane in both directions will be closed Monday to Thursday from 10 pm to 5 am next morning, Saturday and Sunday from 1 am to 6 am. Double-lane in both directions will be closed Monday to Friday from 1 am to 5 am, Saturday and Sunday from 2 am to 6 am. The exit and entrance ramps along the north and southbound of the expressway may also be closed. These closures are necessary to facilitate roadway widening and will continue through July 14, 2025.
