Tennessee baseball is in a super regional for the fourth straight season.

The No. 1 overall seed Vols (53-11) host Evansville (38-24) in the Knoxville Super Regional starting Friday (3 p.m. ET, ESPN2) at Lindsey Nelson Stadium.

Tennessee has reached the College World Series twice in the past three seasons. It is chasing back-to-back trips to Omaha for the first time in program history.

Hunter Ensley has broken the game open with a three-run home run to cap a two-out rally for the Vols. Billy Amick hit a double and Dylan Dreiling walked ahead of Ensley's blast.

With two on and two out, AJ Causey strikes out Evansville leadoff hitter Simon Scherry to end the inning. Causey is up to 82 pitches over 4.2 innings with four hits and three runs allowed along with three walks and eight strikeouts.

Evansville CF Ty Rumsey crashed into the wall trying to catch a Blake Burke hit to left-center, and the resulting RBI double drove in Christian Moore. Rumsey had to clean up a cut but remained in the game.

Burke scored later on an infield hit and error by 3B Brent Widder.

Tennessee continues to answer Evansville pretty quickly in Game 1.

Christian Moore had an error on a bouncing ball near first base with one out and the bases empty, and that changed the entire inning. After a single, Evansville DH Kip Fougerousse hits a two-run double off the wall to make it 5-4 Tennessee.

Chase Hug drives in Fougerousse with a RBI single. 5-5 after four-and-a-half innings at Lindsey Nelson.

AJ Causey has six strikeouts, but Evansville's batters have made some hard contact when they do connect.

Hunter Ensley doubled off the wall to open the fourth inning, then eventually scored on a Dean Curley sacrifice fly to medium depth in centerfield. Evansville's Ty Rumsey made a good throw, but Ensley snuck around the tag to score.

Billy Amick hit a solo home run deep to left field with two out, well over all the tents and seating.

Christian Moore hit a very long, opposite-field two-run home run to right field over the scoreboard. That one was launched.

Cal Stark played a feature role in that half-inning. Stark was interfered with on a stolen base attempt, producing Evansville's first out after a leadoff walk. Then, AJ Causey struck out Kip Fougerousse and Stark picked off the runner at first base for the double play.

Stark is due up second in the bottom of the third inning.
